Greg Thomerson –
Director of Asian Affairs

Greg Thomerson is Director of Asian Affairs for TSD, with primary responsibility for TSD's extensive network of Asian projects. His lean experience began in 1986 as one of the earliest employees at Toyota's first North American plant in Georgetown Kentucky,

where he rose to Assistant Manager, responsible for New Model Development/Model Change preparation and launch activities in two manufacturing plants.

After a decade at Toyota, he became one of TSD's founding members, where his production floor consulting expertise played an instrumental role in the implementation of lean systems for such companies as Allied Signal, Delphi, DaimlerChrysler, Ford


	Motor Company and others. His experience in other production environments includes mapping, designing and implementing lean systems for the US Air Force at various bases across the country, and for fashion footwear and apparel companies throughout Asia. Yet Mr. Thomerson is not only a skilled practitioner and guide for lean systems, he is a frequent speaker on lean for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, a published contributing author Lean Manufacturing: A Plant Floor Guide and the developer of TSD’s newest program featuring lean in a business – transactional environment that is currently in use in Asia.
