EXPERIENCE

For over a decade, TSD has successfully implemented lean-Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)-based systems across a wide range of organizations. In the military sector, TSD’s recognized prominence in the lean-CPI field has secured us a central role in developing and implementing the U.S. Air Force (USAF)
lean-CPI process improvement system – AFSO21. This includes related work at Air Combat Command and multiple USAF bases across the country. Also, TSD is the principal author of the Department of Defense Continuous Process Improvement Transformation Guidebook, as well as the USAF AFSO21 CPI Playbook (the USAF's guide to lean).
 

In the commercial sector, TSD has significant experience in the fashion shoe and apparel industries, designing and implementing company-wide lean-CPI operating systems throughout Asia and Central America. In addition, we have extensive experience in all facets of the automotive-motor vehicle industries, training and implementing lean for companies such as Ford, GM, DaimlerChrysler, Delphi, Caterpillar, John Deere, and others. We were the developer and implementers of the Ford Production System (FPS) in Ford and the sole consultant organization bringing FPS throughout its supplier network.

We specialize in bringing lean-CPI to
transactional processes, particularly in our work in the USAF and insurance industries, as well as in the accounting and payroll departments of other industries. Also, TSD has implemented lean in the foodservice, aerospace, surgical instrument, electronic, chemical, component manufacturing, construction, and light assembly industries.
